DUI: Driver’s License Suspension
When you are facing a DUI charge, there are two (2) driver’s license suspensions at play. One is a civil suspension of your driving privileges through the Idaho Transportation Department and one is a suspension through the court if there is a conviction for the criminal charge.

That notice is issued to you at the time you are cited for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). If you do not request a hearing, the Idaho Transpiration Department will suspend your license for ninety (90) days if it is your first failure of an evidentiary test.
